Job Well Done: Martha Smith, Jay Brasfield, & Margaret Morford:

Martha Smith, Jay Brasfield, and Margaret Morford, who work in Special Collections at the Main Library, received Job Well Done awards, December 5, 2016, for their contributions to field trips. Beth Friederich, Main's Children's department, credited Jay as having introduced her to the oldest map in Special Collections and some maps with fun features that children would find interesting.  Martha pulled books from the collection, such as the Sanborn maps that show Jacksonville's streets before the current Main Library was built.  Margaret gave Beth a tour of the department to further her understanding of the resources, which helps Beth answer students' questions.
