Daylight Saving Time Begins March 10, 2013
Above are two outflow water clocks from the Ancient Agora Museum in Athens. At the top is an original from the late 5th century BC. The one below it is a reconstruction of a clay original. Would you say the water clock would be difficult to adjust to Daylight Saving Time? But, whatever you have--alarm clock, digital, quartz, analog, cuckoo clock --every one of them should change at midnight this Sunday, March 10, 2013, when Dayloght Saving Time begins. So, set your clocks, watches, etc. forward one hour this coming Saturday night before you turn in. (Lose an hour is placatingly called "Spring Forward", which also equates to spring out of bed an hour earlier, if you don't want to be late.
