Art Exhibit Draws Crowd At Southeast
Southeast Branch hosted an Artist Reception, December 5, for students from Keystone Academy and the public was invited. (Keystone provides services for children with autism.) About 70, including artists, children, and adults, attended. The Keystone students displayed their art at SE during November and will conclude the exhibit the first week of December.
After a few words from Children's Sr. Librarian Anita Haller and SE Branch Manager Ed Murray, the exhibit was viewed. Refreshments of cookies, juice, and popcorn were later served. Ed Murray wanted to convey his many thanks to Anita, Library Assistant Paul Schaffner ("Mr. Paul's Painting Program" himself!), and Library Associate Carisia Rooney for their efforts on this, and the SE staff who were able to attend.
